Good morning! Today is September 30th, and another week of NFL action is in the books. If Tyreek Hill has taught us anything, it's that we can always find a way to be happy, no matter how badly our team plays. After Hill dislocated his knee and tore three ligaments, including his ACL, he somehow managed to smile and cheer as he left the field. Hill seemed to be in surprisingly good spirits, or maybe he was relieved not to have to play with Tua anymore? Either way, today is packed with sports action: the MLB playoffs are kicking off, and there's a winner-take-all WNBA Game 5 between the Fever and the Aces, with a spot in the Finals on the line. Keep reading for all the matchups you won't want to miss.

The Game Plan:

The RQI: Week 4
A Weekly QB Ranking

By Danny Rothenberg

Welcome to week 4 of the RQI. If this is your first time here, make sure to read Welcome to the RQI! for the full backstory and how the RQI works.

  1. Brock Purdy (SF) - 59.2 - Brock, throwing the rock. 22 completions for 309 yards and 2 TD is a solid game. But, when you pair that with 2 INT, and a loss to the Jaguars then ooft. Brock is lucky to be featured in the top 10 but that may have said more about the other QBs than his own game.

  1. Baker Mayfield (TB) - 60.8 - BAKER!. He almost did it again. I mean 4 games in a row with a game winning drive would have been insane. Unfortunately for him, his RQI took a big swing after going INT, TOD, Loss. After a slow first half, Baker turned it around to total almost 300 passing yards, and 2 TD. Baker continues his hot start to the RQI season.

  1. Michael Penix Jr. (ATL) - 62.8 Lefty. Ugh. This pained me. It seems to me like playing the Commanders this year may just mean golden opportunity to thrive in the RQI. A career high in passing this week is VIBEZ and the big win also is. Penix got the team back on track after a bad loss to the Panthers. He would have been higher if it weren’t for his INT which gave the Commanders some slight hope late in the game.

  1. C.J. Stroud (HOU) - 64.6 - Woah! Stroud is back? The first win for the Texans gets him some VIBEZ points. Stroud was solid, but got the win and stayed turnover free which is what gets the job done. Just solid work from a QB who looks to turn a slow start around.

  1. Carson Wentz (MIN) - 65.1 - This is the last QB before seeing a huge spike in great games. Wentz played well, and better than a lot of other QBs but still wasn’t enough to get the win. 350 passing and 2 TD is solid. But 2 INT and a loss is never what a fan wants to see. That tanked his RQI score more than it could have been. His high volume helped him, completing 30 passes.

  1. Bo Nix (DEN) - 71.1 - Bo knows. A top 5 RQI performance for Bo after a dominant win. One INT wasn’t going to stop Nix who was able to rack up over 325 passing and a pair of TD passes. Good to see Bo out there doing his thing after a couple of rocky weeks to start.

  1. Dak Prescott (DAL) - 71.7 A… Tie? Well that is weird. The first tie for a QB in RQI history. 319 passing yards, 3 TD and 0 INT for Dak is a great game. It is crazy that the Cowboys are the #1 offense in the league this year, but have the 32 ranked defense. That is because of Dak. He has kept them in games and played well even without CeeDee. Good work Dak.

  1. Jordan Love (GB) - 72.1 - A… Tie? Part 2. Well that is weird. The first tie for a QB in RQI history. What a bounce back performance for Love after that game against the Browns. Another 3 TD performance, all to Doubs, paired with 31 completions and 337 passing yards. His performance was almost identical to Dak but barely edged him out. It feels weird to put one over the other though considering they tied.

  1. Patrick Mahomes (KC) - 78.4 - He’s backkkkkk. What better way to get back on track than to go out and throw for 4 TD and 270 yards against a Super Bowl contender? Mahomes had the boys dialed and it looks like are back to being one of the best teams in the league.

  1. Matthew Stafford (LAR) - 79.5 - What a week it was for Matthew Stafford! Securing the top spot after that huge win on a one play drive from an 88 yard TD throw. You know what they say? Game winning drives bring the VIBEZ! 375 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT and a huge win.
